these Bookmarklets are designed to work on framed webpages
Many bookmarklets do not work on framed web documents. Often this is because there isn't enough programming room to allow a descent through all the pages that are part of such a document. The examples below are some instances where there was enough room (usually at the expense of more detailed alert messages) - and where it seemed worthwhile to have a frames-capable bookmarklet. These only handle framed documents one level deep (no nested frames).

   Bookmarklet: Page Freshness? (Frames Version) In Standard Module? - No
Description:
This gives the date of last modification for every page in the set of frames.
Note: Servers which aren't configured to accurately reflect the last modified date may return values which are obviously impossible (e.g. - Jan 1, 1970).

   Bookmarklet: Number of Links (Frames Version) In Standard Module? - No
Description:
Reports how many links (including image links) there are in each page of a framed (or unframed) document.

   Bookmarklet: Page Color... (Frames Version) In Standard Module? - No
Description:
Asks for a color (like "red" or "blue") and then changes the background color of each page of a framed (or unframed) document to the specified color.
Note: If a page has a background image then the image will obscure the color change.

Asks for a color (like "red" or "blue") and then changes the text (foreground) color of each page of a framed (or unframed) document to the specified color.
