Frames!
If you try to add links to LinkBox from a page that is framed (that is, which is divided into panels) then you'll get a message that says "Frames!" - LinkBox can't tell which frame you want. To add the links, point to the frame you want, right-click, and choose "Open Frame in New Window". That will pull the frame out from the others and then you can use the LinkBox tools to add the links.

How do I add a LinkBox link to my Bookmarks?
To add a LinkBox link to your Bookmarks, point at the link, right-click, and choose "Add to Bookmarks".

How do I undo the effect of processing links?
You can undo any LinkBox operation by backing up. That is, point at the LinkBox, right-click, and choose "Back".

I've exported a LinkBox page and want to load the links back into LinkBox.
To do that, open the exported LinkBox page with your browser (by choosing Open from the File menu). Then use the "Add All Links" tool to load the links into LinkBox.

Some link text got chopped in LinkBox
There is a bug in Netscape 4 - if the link text wraps onto a new line, or if it contains internal formatting, then the text may get chopped (so you only see part of the text). Hopefully this bug will be fixed in later versions of Netscape.

LinkBox has stopped appearing and/or I'm getting error messages!
This can happen if memory is running low. If there isn't enough memory to open a new window then the LinkBox window can't appear. If you've been surfing for a long time and this happens then it's probably a good idea to restart Netscape - you're more likely to crash if you don't. If this happens soon after you start surfing then you may be able to free up more memory by closing other windows and applications.

If these answers don't solve your LinkBox problem please ask a question about your problem so this page can be updated to help others. Thanks.
