Bookmarklet: Page Color... (Netscape version) Works on Frames? - No
Description:
This asks you for a natural color word (like "red" or "blue") and then changes the background color of whichever webpage you are viewing to the color you specify.
Note: If the page has a background image then it will obscure the background color, so the change may not be apparent.

Bookmarklet: Page Color to White Works on Frames? - No
Description:
This changes the background color of a webpage to white. It's like the bookmarklet above, except you don't have to specify the color (it's automatically white). Useful if you have to read a large number of text pages on grey backgrounds.

      Hide All Images (Explorer version)
      Hide 468 x 60 Banners (Explorer version)
Works on Frames? - No
Description:
These hide images on the page (makes them invisible - after they've loaded). The first hides all images. The second hides images that are 468 pixels wide by 60 high (a popular size for those sometimes-irritating animated banners). This page doesn't have a banner on it; keep the second bookmarklet and test it on one of the bigger sites. Refresh the page to restore images.

      Hide 468 x 60 Banners (Netscape version)
Works on Frames? - No
Description:
Similar to the bookmarklet above, these hide images by substituting nonexistent images in their place. Note: In order to see these work, you may need to force a repaint by opening a new window over this one, or by scrolling the image in and out of view. Reload the page to restore images.

N4    Bookmarklet: Biggest Frame to Top (Netscape version)
Works on Frames? - Yes
Description:
On a framed page, this takes the frame with the biggest area (usually the main content frame) and throws it to the whole browser window. Mainly useful for clearing away sidebars without having to open a new window. This page is not framed, so we have set up a test page.
Note: all pages must be from the same domain as the containing frameset for this to work.

N4    Bookmarklet: Split Frames into Windows Works on Frames? - Yes
Description:
Breaks up a framed document into a number of new windows having the same sizes as the frames. It's like using "New Window with this Frame" on all frames, except the new windows are the same sizes as the frames they come from. This makes it easier to configure relationships between the documents in the frames. This page isn't framed, so we've set up a seperate test page (use the browser back button to return here).
