Description: If you have multiple windows open in a stack, this will blur the frontmost window, pushing it to the background. You can bring a window forward with the browser's window menu; this gives you a way to push it backward. To test it, open a second window behind this one (which you can do by clicking here.)

Description: It's can be easier to read a text page if the window is narrowed because the eye can take in shorter lines faster. This bookmarklet resizes the window to a narrow column. After narrowing the window, try reading text by using a slow scroll. Here's a test page of unformatted text.

Description: This is a "meta-bookmarklet"; it's a bookmarklet that makes other bookmarklets! It enables you to bookmark not just a webpage, but also the particular window size and position at the time of the bookmark. Here's how it works: while viewing a page, adjust the window to fit the page and screen, then select this bookmarklet. It will create a link which you can add to your bookmarks the same way you add any bookmarklet. After adding it, just select the new bookmark to load the page and adjust the window shape and position automatically. Note: Some caution is needed when sharing such a bookmark; make sure their screen is as big as yours!
